So last night I went to the Apollo Ranch dealio in Boulder Colorado. Was a really cool venue for a seminar and fun to actually present in a Planetarium. Overall the event was a success though I was sad to see so many people sneak out after the first presentation – the cost of a Saturday night techie gathering I suppose.
Anyways a big thanks goes out to Adobe and the newly formed power team of Xylem CCI. I gave a presentation comparing some of the points between Apollo and what it offers and its purpose as a runtime versus the more well known and used swf2exe wrappers such as my favorite MDM Zinc. The presentation may have been mildly weighted towards Apollo – but fair and honest – with more of a directional point of view than actual feature versus feature.
